MEET KYLE
New, young leadership for our community
Kyle currently resides in south-west Raleigh, in an apartment near Lake Johnson. With a long-term relationship in the fold, he plans to stay in the area for years to come.
Early on living in Wake County, Kyle briefly attended Wake Technical Community College with the intent of studying Communications, but eventually dropped out. This was due to a mixture of affordability issues, and a stint of homelessness he experienced at the same time causing his grades to suffer. It was during this month where Kyle felt the full force of the growing affordability crisis: A young, born-and-bred American man, clean and well-meaning, was forced to live out of a car, not receiving a single dime in assistance from the government. Eventually pulling himself together, eviction is still a constant worry in the face of a job market in shambles while cost-of-living continues to soar.
With secure, salaried jobs difficult to come by, Kyle has spent most of his adult life working hourly jobs, positions that you encounter throughout daily life. Retail, sales, customer service; front-line industries, living the reality of lower-class life that those in ivory towers often fail to understand. This does not render Kyle inexperienced with politics, however; Over the past 3 years, Kyle has garnered here-and-there experience in grassroots, media and management roles across various political campaigns, endowing him with the know-how and connections to contend in the arena.
A young populist with vision extending beyond the concept of party lines, Kyle is not fighting to simply represent Republicans or Democrats. He is fighting to represent the everyday American, the lower-to-middle class that has found themselves struggling amidst the ineptitudes of the powers-that-be. As your Wake County Commissioner, Kyle will tirelessly push, fight, advocate and act with the interests of the common people at heart, as he is of the common people and comprehends the issues that we truly face.
